In thanks for your service to our country, these hotels and attractions offer you an exclusive Military Discount when you verify your Military Service. Many discounts are available for Active duty, Reserve, National Guard, Military Retirees, Veterans, and Dependents.

I just want to take a minute and thank you from the bottom of my heart for you and your family’s service. There is no way I could thank you enough. I have searched and searched here is a list of 70+ discounts ranging from theme parks to shopping for military and their families.

Hotel Discounts for Military Personnel

When military personnel are called into active duty there are times that they will have to travel in order to report on time for duty. Sometimes a soldiers will get to go on leave and spend a month with their families on vacation. Other times military personnel have to travel while on assignment. Whatever the reason for traveling they will need a place to stay. One of the best places for them to stay is one of the many hotels that are scattered across the nation. Military hotel discounts are available for them to enjoy and save money, all they have to do is ask.

One popular hotel chain offers a discount for military personnel who are active, retired, federal employees, foreign government persons, and contractors who are working for the government. The discount for staying comes in the form of a package deal. The personnel receives the discounted room rate along with travel perks. The traveler will receive points for future stays at hotels within the chain, customer service and reservation numbers just for them, offers for in-hotel benefits, and a 10% increase in the points earned for staying with the hotel chain.

Another hotel chain offers similar discounts in the form of a package deal for military personnel. They also extend the offer to all government employees right down to the local level, enlisted and civilian military personnel, hospital and university people who are funded by tax money, and contractors. The people get to enjoy room rates for personnel traveling on official business or for leisure travel. The traveler needs to have a proper identification card before booking. The hotel offer help in obtaining a registration card if the traveler needs help in getting one.

Each hotel chain offers specific rates and perks for military personnel. The one thing in common for all the hotel chains is that when the person checks into the hotel they will need to provide identification showing that they are in the armed forces. Without proper identification, the discount may be withheld from the room rate.

  • Birmingham Zoo (Alabama) FREE  admission to the Zoo with proof of military I.D. from July 3 through July 5 for military and their dependents
