Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Each name is engraved and placed so that the tip of the shadow touches his name on the anniversary of his death, giving each veteran a personal Memorial Day. The resulting radial-concentric joint pattern suggests a “web”, symbolic of the entangling nature of this war.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, one of 112 national cemeteries in the United States. Contains the grave of Zachary Taylor (1784-1850), our 12th president.
