Reno Rodeo
The Reno Rodeo takes place just 3.5 miles from your hotel and is a great activity for children and adults. This ten-day event is held in June and is celebrating 89 years. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association sanctions this sporting event and thousands of fans flock to the excitement each year. Reno Arch
The historic Reno Arch has been a landmark since 1926. The original arch was erected to celebrate the completion of the first coast to coast motor routes in America. After the celebration was completed, a contest was held locally to decide on a motto, and the inscription “Reno, The Biggest Little City in the World” was born. As the years passed, neon was added. While the arch has been replaced twice, the motto and the bright lights are still there to welcome visitors.
