Dog Beach near Sunny Isles

Visit Haulover Beach Park to find 2 dog parks and a dog beach that are all dog-friendly and are situated right on the shore. For a relaxing afternoon of off-leash roaming around, the dog parks offer enclosed spaces with shade trees, picnic tables, chairs, drinking fountains, waste bags, and waste containers. From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., dogs are permitted off-leash on the section of the beach between lifeguard towers 2 and 3. Watching your dog play with other dogs, run wild on the beach, and push himself or herself to the limit in the surf is a ton of joy. You must pay a nominal parking entrance fee per vehicle before you can use the park’s amenities all afternoon.

Bone Zone at Senator Gwen Margolis Park

Senator Gwen Margolis Park, 17815 North Bay Road, is a fenced-in area where dogs are allowed to roam without a leash. Up until they enter the Bone Zone area, dogs must be on a leash. In other parts of Senator Gwen Margolis Park, dogs are not permitted.

Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 am to 8 pm, Tuesdays from 10 am until 8 pm

Heritage Park Dog Zone

At Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue, there is a dog area. The location is close to the parking garage on the park’s south side. Other parts of Heritage Park do not permit dogs.

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays from 12 to 9 p.m.
