Dog-Friendly Activities Naples Florida

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park

11135 Gulf Shore Dr, Naples, FL 34108

Dogs are not allowed to roam free in this park, although your dog can go play in the water there. It is also conveniently located in Naples’ northern region. You are permitted to lead your dog to the location where canoes and boats are launched, despite the fact that you are not permitted to walk your dog on the beach even if it is on a leash. The water in Water Turkey Bay is swimmable by them. Since you must always keep the dog on a leash, you will also need to enter the fray. You may find this park off Gulfshore Drive. Immokalee Road should be traveled to the shore heading west. The seashore is visible to your left.

City of Naples Dog Park

The ideal place to start your dog’s day out is Naples Dog Park. Dogs have plenty of areas to run with 1.35 acres of fenced-in green space! The lower acre of the park is designated for large dogs to play, while the top section is fenced in for smaller dogs. A shade structure with a picnic area and water stations for both people and dogs is also there. With a sizable parking lot and a path leading to the park, parking is simple. Naples Dog Park is open all day long.

Canine Cove Dog Park

Canine Cove Dog Park is a fantastic area to let your dog run about and burn off some energy and is situated near Mackle Park on Marco Island. There is plenty of covers to shield you from the Florida sun and space for your four-legged pals to run around. Water fountains for dogs and humans, waste bag dispensers, and public restrooms are all available at Canine Cove. Small and large dogs have their own spaces to play and relax. The park is accessible from sunrise to dusk.

Keewaydin Island

Keewaydin Island, a picturesque barrier island off the coast of Naples, Florida, is renowned as the Naples-Marco Island region’s pet-friendliest beach. The caveat is that you can only travel by boat to the island. The Hemingway Water shuttle, a pet-friendly boat, travels to and from Keewaydin Island seven times per day, so you won’t have any trouble getting there with your dog. Keewaydin Island is nearly entirely undeveloped, which results in wonderfully gorgeous, pure, unspoiled beaches; nevertheless, due to its natural status, keep in mind that there are no public facilities while making travel plans!
