First United Methodist Church’s Quillian Center is home to Noah’s Ark Pool and is a favorite among locals during the hot summer months. It is home to 2 different pools designed for different ages, to help keep the whole family entertained during summer. Pack a picnic and spend the entire day cooling off at the pool.
The Quillian Center is adjacent to the Worship Center at First Methodist Houston’s Westchase Campus. It includes Noah’s Ark splash pad, 2 swimming pools, an outdoor basketball pavilion, a shaded picnic area, ball fields, a gymnasium, and an indoor climbing wall.
An ark structure with animals is located in the center of a shallow pool with three slides, spraying animals, and a mushroom water drop. This pool is geared for toddlers, pre-K, and early elementary-aged kids. The larger pool for youth and adults has two diving boards and swim lanes. The full-sized pool also features a giant slide.
This excellent facility has more than just a pool if the kids need a break from swimming they can test their skills on the outdoor basketball pavilion, or show off their climbing skills on the indoor climbing wall. If you forgot to pack a picnic, no worries, there is a concession stand serving up pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and more.
