Best Views on the Las Vegas Strip

Top Places on the Strip for Scenic Views

The city is visited by almost 35 million tourists every year and the Las Vegas luxury hotels are always prepared to welcome any number of guests that arrive at their doorstep. 18 of the 21 largest hotels in the world are located in Las Vegas. The city is home to Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat which is a tropical paradise in itself. The Cyber Speedway is a high-speed roller coaster that also features one of the major racing circuits. The city also has its own half-size replica of the Eiffel Tower which is located at the theme casino, Paris-Las Vegas. Almost everything about Las Vegas can be described as ‘huge’ with impressive world-record-holding buildings, legendary casinos, several resorts, Las Vegas luxury hotels, and grand shopping malls.

Known as the city of the neon lights, the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, flashy casinos, and a lively nightlife. With an average of 315 sunny days in a year, Las Vegas is the place of numerous Las Vegas luxury hotels and wedding chapels where couples can choose to get married by an Elvis Presley priest. However, the city is more than just casinos and nightlife and features numerous attractions for the tourists. Las Vegas is like an oasis in the Nevada desert sands and stands at the southern tip of Nevada as the entertainment capital of the United States and of the entire World. The 28th most populated city in the US had built itself as a major tourist resort for shopping, fine dining, and gambling.

Eiffel Tower Experience

If you are looking for a great view of the Las Vegas strip then I would highly recommend the Eiffel Tower Experience at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. The height of the Eiffel Tower is 541 feet (165m) making it half the size of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The initial design was to have a full-scale Eiffel Tower but due to the close proximity to the airport, it was decided to shrink the size.

Tickets are purchased in the foyer of the Paris Las Vegas hotel and cost $20. The Eiffel Tower is open 7 days a week from 9:30am to 12:30am. On the way up to the top, an ambassador will point out landmarks on the Las Vegas strip to look out for. Once you have reached the top you will encounter a 360-degree view of Las Vegas. I would recommend going up sunset time like I did to witness the sun setting over Las Vegas.

You get an incredible view of the Bellagio Fountains which starts every 15 minutes. Once you are done you can stop at the kiosk to purchase a photo although these souvenirs tend to be overpriced I would recommend taking your own. The Eiffel Tower also as a restaurant on the 11th floor serving Continental cuisine and also provides incredible views.

The Eiffel Tower Experience in Las Vegas is certainly something not to be missed if you want a great view of Las Vegas. It is well worth the money to get a great view and great photographs of Las Vegas.

Bellagio Fountain Show

The Bellagio Fountains is situated in front of the Bellagio Hotel, a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music. The Bellagio Fountains playlist includes songs such as “Viva Las Vegas”, “Luck Be a Lady”, and “My Heart Will Go On”. The Bellagio Fountains show is designed by Wet Designs. The Bellagio Fountains show can be viewed in front of the Bellagio Hotel, however, the best view of the Bellagio Fountains as seen from the picture above is from the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas hotel.

Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat

This is a review of The Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat situated at the Mirage Resort in Las Vegas. Started by famed magicians Siegfried & Roy, the secret garden provides viewing of wild cats and dolphins. Don’t be mistaken, this is not a zoo and as its much smaller than a zoo. The secret garden provides a tropical atmosphere which is a great break from the usual Las Vegas attractions. Ticket prices start at $15 for adults and$10 for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children under 4 enter for free.

Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden

The Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden starts off with the viewing area of the 2.5-million-gallon dolphin habitat. The dolphin habitat contains Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in four connected pools. There are educators who educate the public about the dolphins while the dolphins do tricks and play with their toys. These talks are highly informative. The best part is going beneath the pools which provide a glass viewing area of the dolphins. This is a unique view as you get to see the dolphins interact underneath the water.

The next part of the Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden is the Big Cat Conservation area. In tropical enclosures which mimics the wildlife habitat of the animals you will get to see Black Panthers, Golden Tigers, Leopards, Lions, White Lions, and White Tigers. I had mixed feelings about this part of the secret garden. I don’t think it provides great views of the animals and you walk through it rather quickly. There are informative displays providing information that you can read. The secret garden ends with a souvenir shop where you can purchase souvenirs to remember your visit.

The Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat provides a great break from the usual activities in Las Vegas due to its tropical setting and is breath of fresh air. The price of $15 is expensive for what you are getting as its a small habitat that you could walk through in one hour. It’s not an attraction I will visit again but certainly don’t have any regret visiting it.

Las Vegas is nicknamed the Sin City and the Capital of Second Chances for some understandable reasons. The city has a high tolerance for adult entertainment and is a popular setting for many television programs as well as movies. Las Vegas houses many options for travelers from Las Vegas downtown hotels to 5-star hotels Las Vegas-style. The city features some very unique gems like the Las Vegas Strip which has outdoor lightings that appear never else on this planet. The city is packed with fantasy, fun, entertainment, and mega-resorts. It’s the ‘wow factor’ that highlights the city from the rest of the tourist destinations in the United States.
