Adventure City Anaheim is a theme park with lots of fun for the visitors on Anaheim travel. Located a few miles from the resort area of Disneyland Park, it is a great destination for having affordable family fun. Admission for a child or an adult here is much less than some of the big theme parks and includes the unlimited use of most of the rides and attractions.
There are ten exciting rides at Adventure City Anaheim for the kids and adults. Various attractions in the place include a Birthday Party Station, live interactive stage shows for children at the theater, a petting farm, a challenging rock climbing wall of 24 feet, and an arcade where children of various ages are able to test their skills and win prizes.
The Rescue Ride in Adventure City makes the kids experience first hand, how it is like to be a police officer or a firefighter. Kids on entering the fire and police station can try on real helmets and fire jackets. Participants are also informed of humorous and fictitious emergency calls by a dispatcher across the intercom.
Visitors to the Adventure City Anaheim can take a ride in the Express Train which gives a full circle tour through the park. Built in 1938, this train used to be the main attraction of Hobby City for many years. After the Adventure City was built in 1994, the train was brought here after extending the rails.
One of the great coasters in Adventure City is the Tree Top Racers. The main thrill factor of this ride is created on the upper level by the tight switchbacks which give an illusion to the riders that they are going to tip over the edge.
Reservations are not required for visitors to the Adventure City Anaheim in groups under 50. Outside food is not allowed to be taken inside the park and an area for a picnic is present outside the main gate for the convenience of the visitors.
