Kids Build a Race Car at Free Home Depot Workshop Saturday!

February 28, 2013 |  by  |  Free for Kids

For FREE things to do for kids this Saturday, go to Home Depot where kids can build a nifty wooden race car for free!  At the free kids workshop on  March 2, 2013, kids can paint and put stickers on the car, making it look like a NASCAR entry.

Children ages 5 to 12 can build the race car 9 a.m. to noon, no reservations required.

Home Depot’s free workshops for kids are offered at all stores every first Saturday of the month. At each workshop, kids are introduced to a new project and are taught do-it-yourself skills and tool safety. In addition to keeping their handmade project, each child receives a free Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

If you’re looking for more fun afterwards, Lakeshore Learning stores hold free craft events every Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here for more information.
