Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, be it in the famed New York City Rockefeller Center or in San Francisco’s Union Square,
are on our holiday list of top free things to do. But this year, some tree lightings are igniting the season earlier than ever.
The Americana at Brand, the new Glendale, CA shopping extravaganza, turns on the seasonal charm with the lighting of its 110-ft tree at 7:30PM, Thursday, Nov. 19.
Following suit is San Francisco’s Embarcadero on Friday, November 20. Illuminating the season of free things to do with not only a Christmas tree lighting, but with a FREE preview of Disney on Ice.
