You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your Veteran’s Day free meal – a U.S. Uniform Services ID Card, a U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a DD214, a photograph in uniform, or wear your uniform.
Nothing like a little free fun for serving or having served in the military. Outback Steakhouse is giving Veterans and those on active military duty a Bloomin’ Onion appetizer (these are big!) and a choice of any Coca-Cola drink, any time Nov. 7 to Nov. 11 (official Veterans Day).
The Outback signature Bloomin’ Onion is big enough to share, so bring your family or friends along. They’ll have to buy their own drink, though.

Unlike some of Chick-fil-A’s giveaways in the past, participating in this free breakfast is easy. Just head to Chick-fil-A’s Website promotion page to find the nearest restaurant participating in the giveaway. Then reserve a day and time to pick up your free breakfast entrée. Breakfast is served from from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
You say you don’t do chicken, bacon or sausage? Chick-fil-A has a new option this free fun gal is opting for: an 8 oz bowl of multi-grain oatmeal. And it’s not instant either. The mixture is a combination of steel-cut oats, rolled oats, flax, buckwheat flour and whole wheat flour. Customers can choose one of three toppings, including cinnamon brown sugar, roasted mixed nuts (almonds, pecans and walnuts) or a dried fruit blend (cranberries, blueberries, golden raisins and cherries).
